For years, WordPress was the default. It’s flexible and familiar — but it comes with a tax: constant updates, plugin vulnerabilities, and servers to babysit.
We moved to a static-first approach. The results speak for themselves: faster pages, a smaller attack surface, and content that lives in version control. This post walks through the trade-offs and why it was the right call for us and our clients.
